The location is about a 30-minute walk to the main attractions, which might deter some folks, though a quick £10 Uber can get you there in 10 minutes. Parking costs £10 per day, a bit surprising considering it’s a private lot and not mentioned upfront. The room could have benefited from some extra lighting options, like a lamp by the dining table to enhance the cozy atmosphere, but I guess we all have our quirks when it comes to lighting.

Couples seeking vintage charm will love it
We stayed for 5 nights and they let us drop our luggage early while we explored, so nice of them. The staff really knows what they’re talking about, gave us great food recommendations and the room was massive and beautiful like a damn palace.
It’s not inexpensive but honestly worth every penny.

for our romantic stay, this place really exceeded my expectations compared to my previous trip. we stayed in a grand suite that was beautifully furnished with practical amenities like a microwave and a nespresso machine. the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home, it turned out to be the perfect getaway for our anniversary.
the view was restricted due to location.

Had an awesome time with friends! Our giant suite was perfect for hanging out after exploring the nearby beach and amusement park. The cozy communal spaces were great for relaxing together. I definitely recommend checking it out for an easy getaway with friends.
We did notice a slightly damp smell in one of the lower-level suites, which was a bit off-putting.

The Grand Suite was huge and had this stunning view that made waking up a joy, and the comfortable bed really topped it off. I loved relaxing in the big Victorian bathtub and chilling by the pool after a long day. Just a heads up, the fridge was great but the milk for tea could’ve been better priced. 😊

Great match for a passing visit in Edinburgh with good value for the price. The room size was impressively spacious, even for a standard setup. Check out nearby bakeries for fresh pastries in the morning.

historical ambiance, spacious rooms with high ceilings, honesty bar
Air conditioning issues!!! Lack of complimentary coffee pods was incredibly disappointing!!! The parking fee of £10 per night seemed sneaky given the overall room rates!!!

The location of Hapimag in Edinburgh is fantastic. It's close to many attractions, making it easy to explore the city. I stayed in a Classic Suite, which was very spacious. Really enjoyed the nice bathroom with a deep tub and great shower pressure. The generous amenities like kitchen utensils and electric kettle were perfect for making quick meals. The cozy common areas and the honesty shop added a nice touch to the experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering good local recommendations. the parking fee felt unnecessary given the overall cost of the stay. I also missed having breakfast available on-site, which would have made mornings easier. Despite a couple of downsides, I had an enjoyable stay here and would recommend it to others, especially for its comfort and location.

missingWrote a review on Jun 17spacious accommodationshistoric ambianceparking charges
Spacious accommodations with high ceilings create a comfortable atmosphere. The historical vibe of the building blends well with modern amenities, offering a unique experience that's hard to match.
Parking costs an additional £10 per night, which feels a bit annoying since it should ideally be included. The mattress in my suite had seen better days, with springs poking through, making it less comfortable than I would have liked. Complimentary coffee pods weren't offered, only tea and hot chocolate, which had me missing a vital pick-me-up after a long day. The honesty bar's capsule prices might catch travelers off guard if they're not careful, especially after spending a decent amount on room costs. Finding the hotel initially can be tricky due to road closures, which adds to the stress of arriving.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored Al-Corniche's stunning views and enjoyed a day at Aladdin's Kingdom. The room was super cozy with great amenities. Just a heads up, you might want to ask for extra bottled water during your stay, as we only got two at check-in.
We felt it would have been nice to have additional bottled water during our stay since we were only given two initially.
